Upgrading my CPU

Hello! So i'm upgrading my CPU my current specs are:
• Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30Ghz
• 4GB Ram
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
• Motherboard is : MS - 7788

I want to upgrade my CPU to : Intel Core i5-6600K
But i wanted to ask is this CPU compatible with this motherboard : MSI H170GAMINGM3
Aswell i'm aware that i'll be needing DDR4 Ram : So I'm getting :
Kingston 8GB PC21300 2666MHz DDR4 CL15 FURY HyperX
Is everything here alright? And should i know anything else?

That'll work, but you won't be able to overclock the i5-6600k with that motherboard. You should either get one with a z170 chipset so you can make use of the unlocked processor or just go for a non-k one.

Also, if you do get the i5-6600k you'll need to buy a CPU cooler since it doesn't come with one. A non-k CPU will come with a stock cooler.
