Upgrading my CPU

Guys I have a MSI Boston 1.0 motherboard , Intel Pentium e5300, 4gb of ram , GT 1030 2gb. I'm thinking to upgrade my processor and my ram. The site hp support said my motherboard can only supports 4gb of ram but is it possible to upgrade it? And btw can u guys suggest which processor can I upgrade?

I think you can not upgrade RAM as 4GB must be max for you system. 4GB is normal even you can game on that.
You can definitely upgrade processor to maybe to Core 2 Duo 7xxx or 8xxx series... You should find out what is your system model exactly so we can help... MSI boston 1.0 isn't enough there must be other model numbers...
If you can buy E8600 Core 2 Duo it would be much better desktop PC. of course if it supports that CPU.

E6800 is the best, but i found no info on ram support.
