I am upgrading my Dell 620s which I got way back in 2012 (I know it's way too old) but it got good space for upgrade...

Original Specs:
Intel i3-2120 (IGP Intel HD 2000)
*main reason I want to upgrade*
3 GB RAM(1+2)
250W power supply

New parts I am considering To Buy:
GT 1030
HyperX Fury 4 GB DDR3 1866Mhz

My concern:
Is that HyperX is compatible with i3-2120

Whether GT 1030 is good for Games on Low - Medium Settings

And Overall is It Good For A budget Oriented Upgrade?

Solution
Oh sorry, yeah 250W. I'd still upgrade that PSU. But either way a GTX 750 ti or actually a GTX 1050/1050 ti is the way to go.

If you can't afford those GPUs, a GT 1030 will suffice.
A few things I'd suggest:

Going from 3 to 4GB isn't worth it, your FAR better off going to a 2x4GB kit. Yes the hyperX should work, tho you probably can only run it at 1333mhz, but that's perfectly fine for a CPU that old.

The GT 1030 is good for low-medium settings. But I'd recommend going to the used market if your willing, a GTX 750 TI (that requires no 6 pin) is an AWESOME GPU that will be faster than that 1030.

No, it's 2018 the recommended amount of memory for gaming honestly is actually 16GB. So you want at least 8GB so your not getting stuttering (plus you'll be at lower graphics settings which will help your memory usage).

Also, is there anyway you can upgrade your power supply?? A 220W this old is very scary to deal with, i'm afraid that it might cook your new GPU in the near future.

I am not going for a heavy gaming machine (just for very light titles like Assassin's Creed Black Flag Which Ran at 15fps on Intel HD 2000 *seriously*)
And my Power supply is 250 watts not 220
(I am asking for Gaming in 2015)

Sorry to break a party, but this is slim PC version with almost proprietary PSU, so just upgrade is not going to fly here.
Also, video card must be low profile to fit, so I see no solution here yet.

Here is how conversation should have be done.

Upper right corner is PSU - proprietary as you can see, so we have to play with 250 watt only, but I know Dell power supplies, this is OK.

Here are the choices for strongest video cards, I would go with Zotac since it provides low profile brackets, other cards might have those brackets as well, need more time to investigate.

This is how it should have be done.
