What i'm wondering with this is i want to upgrade my GPU. I want to know if its a better idea to go with another r9 270x and just put them in crossfire or should i save up for a complete new GPU like a 770 or 780 and in the long future crossfire them. But that would be a year down the road. So either i could add the second r9 270x now or upgrade to a complete new one.

**Note that im upgrading my CPU and motherboard to a i7 4770k or an i5 4690k in the next few months

Solution
Definitely save up. A 780 ROCKS my world. I've had a 770 also but it didn't push my buttons since it doesnt have the v-ram unless you get the 4gb model. Use this website (http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/) to make comparisons. I've had a friend with x-fired 270x's and he just laughed saying they heated up to fast for him to even game. My suggestion would be a 780.

P.S. You DO NOT crossfire nvidia cards. You SLI them. Same thing just different connector basically.

what are you talking about? i already have all these parts do you know how to read?
