so the other day i came across the gtx 960 and i thought it would be a good idea to upgade my current gpu , the problem is i dont know how good of an upgade it would be from my gtx 750 ti so i decided to ask for help . I know a lot of you will probably say something along the lines ''save up and buy a gtx 970'' or ''buy and amd equivalent '' but even here lies a problem , first i cant afford the 970 in the close future and i need a gpu asap and for the amd equivalent i dont have the psu needed to feed them (i have a corsair vs450) so what do you think ? please let me know and thanks for the answers :)

(also the current model of the 750 ti i have is the palit stormX dual in case you wonder)

Solution
The new GTX 950 can be overclocked to match and exceed the GTX 960, and it runs for only $150 ish. But if you can squeeze out the extra $$$$ go with the GTX 960, it's a beastly little card, I run one of a 430W PSU no sweat.

You won't run into PSU problems unless you get a R9 280x or R9 380...
GTX 950 is probably a good choice, but is it really worth the upgrade?

If you can sell your card and get a r7 370 you're in business.
What games do you play and at what resolution?

Both the 950 and 960 outperform the r7 370.
