Upgrading my gpu

Hi

I have a pretty old pc with:

ATI Radeon Hd6850
i5 2400 @3.1Ghz
8Gb Ram

I was thinking about upgrading my gpu, and I have an option to upgrade to Gigabyte Gtx 770 cheaper than usual.

Is it worth it? Is it a good enough jump in performance for about 100$?
Will it fit?

Also, if you think there are better options for this price range, I would definitely like to hear them!

I would suggest this website to compare the GTX 770 to any other gpu. I matched it with a newer, cheap gpu with somewhat better performance in newe games.
