Hey!

So I'm pretty sure my graphics card is toast as I've been experience some serious problems with its signal!

I am therefore planning on upgrading my existing rig with a new graphics card! I've been looking around online for the past 2 hours now and although I've learned a lot, I'm still nowhere near being able to pick the best graphics card for me.

I use my PC for gaming and for Photoshop, Illustrator and solid works. Id like to get something a little bit more powerful than the one I currently have but I don't want to break the bank either.

I am also thinking about adding a second hard-drive (or even just getting a bigger one as my 500gb is nearly full) and adding a modular PSU while I am at it because I don't think my 450w PSU is up to powering a newer graphics card.

My budget for all of this is around €200 euros although It can stretch a bit if it will make a big difference.

Can you guy/gals give me any advice or suggestions?

This one ?Seems pretty powerful? Would I need to take into account my processor?

Would 450w not be considered to be pretty low ?

Sorry I probably should've included that in my original post.

Here are my specs:
Motherboard: ASRock H61M/U3S3
Graphics card: Radeon HD6850
CPU: Intel Core i3 processor (2120), 3.3ghz, 3mb cache
PSU: Super Flower 450 wat
RAM: 2* 4gb

Also im located in Ireland!

It's a 120w card, your PSU will take it easy peasy

your i3-2120 isn't the fastest but it ain't bad either, any bottlenecks will be fairly minimal. you'd certainly get a great experience with that card & cpu combo

Okay cool, Thats definitely an option anyways. It pretty much eats up my whole budget though so doesn't leave room for a new HDD. Im a little bit hesistant to spend €200 euros on one component as I probably wont use it to its max potential.

I've been looking at some hardware sites other irish people have recommended (HardWareeversand & Dabs) but I cant seem to find the GTX 960 on them ?

Well if you were happy enough with your 6850 and you just want a little upgrade, get the r9 260x. Again, no PSU upgrade needed and leaves dollars for a hard drive too

It should still be a good 30% faster than the 6850
