Upgrading my graphics card (budget $300)

Hi,

I currently have a 560 ti classified ultra and I was thinking of upgrading. I plan on selling the card for ~$100 and then taking that money and tossing in another $150-$200 for a new graphics card.

What card should I get if my budget is $300? Or should I wait a little bit for the next generation of cards?

My current build shouldn't be a problem:
550w PSU
i5-3570k

GTX760 is the absolute best bang for your buck. It's near enough GTX670 speed (they're pretty much identical) but GTX760 is considerably cheaper.

For that budget your looking at a GeForce 760 or 660 Ti or an Radeon 7950.

The next step up is the 7970 but that comes in at $350.

So for the first 3 choices you can get deals at $249 which is saving you a bit of cash.

Personally i'd go GTX 760 or the HD 7950.

Between the two the 7950 has more bandwidth but the 760 is a little quicker.

Everyone and their dog is going to say the 760 because its the latest card out so I'm just showing you a few alternative options.

GTX 760 is the best buy as of now. Forget the factory overclocked models, get one with a beast aftermarket cooler and overclock the card yourself.

760 is best in ur price range it performs 8% better than 7950 and it is cheaper also
