Upgrading my graphics card for the first time

I'm planning to get an EVGA GTX 960 and I'm wondering if I'm gonna have any problems with my current setup.

I'm running an 17-2600K on a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 mobo. My main concern is if my PCI slot can handle it. All I know is that the specs state PCI 3.0 x 16 and all the info I can find about my mobo list PCI x16 and x8.

Ypur PCIE slot can definitely handle it. Just make sure you put the new graphics card in the x16 slot so it runs at a good speed.
