Upgrading my graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 520

Hi all, I just bought the witcher 2 for pc after checking to see if i could run it by using canyourunit.com Anyway it said yes but when i brought it home and installed its a total mess. Completely choppy and can only assume this is my graphics cards fault. I want the to buy the best graphics card I can get with my current specs:

Price is not really an issue but i am not in the business of getting ripped off.... So whatever is the best bang for my buck. Id prefer not to spend over $500. And how would i check for my power supply guys? Sry im a newb ><.
