Upgrading my graphics card

I am wondering if A.this is up to date and B. if its old which graphics card i should get.I would also like to no if amd or geforce is better

Your GPU is perfectly fine. It is only 1 year old and does not need to be upgraded. It will run games fine for a while.

It all depends on what games you play and what resolution your monitor is. A 770 is still a decent card for 1080p for sure. I would stick with it unless you are noticing slow downs in game or you just have money to burn. Both AMD and Nvidia have their places in different categories. I usually lean towards Nvidia because of CUDA for my pro apps. That said, what resolution is your monitor?
