Upgrading my graphics card.

In my current build I have a GTX 560 ti, I decided to upgrade it since I got a bit of money left over from work. So i bought a gtx 670. I went to install it and was shown an error code A2 (asrock dr debug thing on my motherboard) and my monitor wouldnt recognise any connection to a computer via HDMI. I have been given confirmation that the graphics card worked before it was shipped and i cant see it would have been broken in anyway through shipping. Is there anything I am missing here?

GPU or cables not seated correctly is usually what A2 means. Try removing and reinstalling the card and reattaching all cables.
