Hello Everyone,

I just recently joined this forum and I am hoping I can get some pointers regarding replacing my motherboard.
I have an Omen 870-202nx PC from HP and the motherboard inside it doesn't support more than 1 GPU slot for it not to mention it doesn't have a type-C USB so I decided to change the motherboard to something that support sli as well have a type-c connector but I am completely New to PC Building and I got this PC as a gift my question is which motherboard can fit in my PC case I am assuming it's a Mini case so only uatx and matx can fit inside it here is my current Specs
CPU: i7-7700k 4.20ghz
GPU: Nvidia 1080
RAM DDR4 32GB

You will need to upgrade your motherboard, and since you want to SLI (even though there isn't a real need for it in Gaming) you will need to upgrade the Internal 500 W (100V-240V) power supply you currently have, likely the PSU is Dell configured and the Motherboard is by Dell specs meaning non standard. Which leads me to the next step in your system upgrade will be a new computer case.

so basically for 1 extra video card you will need motherboard, PSU and case, not to mention having to move all your HDD/SDD/video/RAM and cpu to the new motherboard and case. and the benefits of SLI are minimal in Gaming as 99% of games do not use it.

RE: USB-C, just get a USB3.0 to USB-C hub, anything more than connecting your IPhone or tablet you need to tell us for a recommendation in adding a PCIE slot card to USBC connectors as per this page https://www.howtogeek.com/211843/usb-type-c-explained-what-it-is-and-why-youll-want-it/
"USB Type-C isn’t the same thing as USB 3.1, though. USB Type-C is just a connector shape, and the underlying technology could just be USB 2 or USB 3.0. In fact, Nokia’s N1 Android tablet uses a USB Type-C connector, but underneath it’s all USB 2.0—not even USB 3.0"
