I'm looking to upgrade this computer i got a few years ago, and I've been doing a lot of research on what I need to upgrade and how to find compatibility.
My questions are; how do I find what model case I have? Is it important to know the model of the case when upgrading or are the dimensions all i need?

I've done research on CPUs, motherboards, graphics cards and RAM, but am still unsure on how to go about getting cooling systems and/or fans to prevent overheating.
I don't know what is inside of my PC in terms of those things, so is the only way to find out to take it apart?

I appreciate any feedback!

Solution
Id recommend getting a new case as it will make upgrading easier, the Thermaltake Versa N26 is a good budget option ( that's the case i have for my build so i can say from experience) :)

Cheers,
