I have a inspiron 570. I bought a phenom ii x4 965. Also I got some corsair memory card 1333mhz 4x2gb. Idk if I should add more or get more ram than my computer says it can handle I have windows 7 64 bit. I bought a 600 watt psu. Trying to upgrade my graphic card to the best it can support. I want to know if I need to buy a new case or get more fans and what kind of fans do u recommend if I use original case. I'm going to overclock my phenom ii x4 965 and maybe graphics card too. I haven't installed my phenom yet but I want to know which fan will be compatible with my case. If u know a good graphic card but it won't fit on my mobo or case and it's Compatible with the phenom ii x4 965 let me know cuz I might get a new mobo and case and use same 570 components.

These are the fastest i would recommend with that slower cpu.

With that cpu i think you'll be looking at pcie express 2.0 which will work fine with those gpu's.The only thing might be that the bios won't accept the new gpu's,maybe would need an update or won't work at all.You might need to contact dell for that.

I looked at that motherboard and it seems to come from a small tower,How big is the case you have? Myabe you at least can give some measurements.

I have the dell inspiron 570 motherboard. 4GJJT. I want a good graphic card and the memory slots are in the way. Example if I have a pci express 16 will any graphics card work? Will this work on my 570Sapphire Radeon TOXIC R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP with Boost (UEFI) PCI-Express Graphics Card 11217-02-40G. I have 600 watt psu.

So you don't like my answer but still want help? 😛

That gpu would do fine. The motherboard won't be good for overclocking i assume since oem.I see no point in replacing it.If you wanted to replace a motherboard should you have gone for a complete new platform.

For the gpu can you also look at the gtx 950 which needs less wattage and has about the same or better performance.

Which maker model for the psu?

LOL Its my first time using this site lool I couldn't like it back. http://m.tigerdirect.com/products/899124 I have this one. Also have amd phenom ii x4 965. I have made research and seen people that overclocked same pc. I need the strongest video card.

If people have overclocked on that motherboard i just have to take your word for it.Make sure you get a decent cooler on it like the 212 evo from cooler master or similar.I would advice a better case too with a decent airflow, which means at least one intake fan at the front and one outtake fan at the back

that psu is not highly regarded and i'm being polite. Can better also advice to buy a different one,but your budget has probably it's limits. For a decent gpu look at either the gtx 950 or 960 depending on your budget.

Just want to let u know is that the fastest and will it fit in my motherboard. 4GJJT Idk what type of pci express 16 if it's 2.0 or 2.1.

It's a small case

Can you take a look at the dell inspiron 570 motherboard. Tell me which gpu will fit and work. Remember it's about compatibility and not budget. I have a phenom ii x4 965 cpu.

With the 875G chipset it supports pcie 2.0,this means that any current gpu should technically work on it. The thing is that when your case isn't big enough they won't fit in there. The same reservation is there about the bios.
For the rest is it up to you.

GPU should be preferably not much longer than 9.5 inches, it can be longer, but you will have to move hard drive to lower position and go under hard drive cradle with GPU, I remember someone fit 13 inch card there, but this will limit you to only 1 hard drive.
CPU cooler can be only 92mm at the most to fit in the original case, it is possible to overclock in the original case, but it will require a lot of work
First you and other non believers has to read my Uber Guide http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19490818
Read all 4 pages, updates in the back.
Regarding GPU, if you do not overclock, GTX 750TI is more than enough, can not comment on AMD cards.

Thanks to your post it got me somewhere. I'm going to overclock my cpu and I'll add more fans. To keep it cooled down. So the best fit will be the GTX 750 TI?

Not the best fit. GTX 750 is for NON overclockers.
If you are planning to overclock, you can use stronger card. My GTX 660 is just a bit stronger than my overclocked CPU, so look no stronger than GTX 750TI, I wish we had already GTX 950 TI, as 960 is too strong for our CPU.
At the same time there could be compatibility issues.
So far I did not hear any issues with GTX 750TI, but I hear a lot of issues with GTX 900 series. Take into consideration the fact that Inspiron BIOS is not upgradable, so I think, it would be better to search for the strongest GTX 750TI you can find, the one, which is factory overclocked and balanced.
Just remember the size, if it is below 9 inches in length, you can have 2 hard drives, if it is longer than 10 inches, it will go under hard drive cradle, so you will waste one hard drive space, and not all cards can go under, some has tall fan shrouds.

Thank you so much. Man as I said I'll help our other bros with the inspiron 570. Now I'm in the process of making a USB 3.0 port with a pcie card.

Do u recommend with the r9 270x? It has a faster bit rate. Lol now I'm using a nvidia Quadra fx 3700. I found it on an older pc. Temperrorly. I been hearing alot of good things from the r9 270x. Idk man.

Be very careful here as I just screwed up myself big time.
I am dealing with a huge slow down during boot time and freezing BIOS, I am suspecting PCI SATA card, no time to troubleshoot yet.
I don't remember exact numbers, but USB 3.0 suppose to provide around 640 mb/s bandwidth or so, now look at your options. You have PCI slot with 133 MB/s bandwidth, which is far away from PCIE slot, so your GPU fan can use air. Dual slot GPU will cover 1 PCIE x1 slot, so you have just one more, and PCIE x1 card will cover some of your GPU fans, if it is single fan card, you will loose a lot of air, so card will overheat, if you choose dual fan card, you will loose about 50% of GPU air intake or less, it is not that simple.
Now about PCIE x1 bandwidth, it is only 500 MB/s at the best, or more likely only 440-450MB/s in reality, so you would not be able to achive full USB 3.0 speed for sure, is it really worth it.
Now RAID card for me increased initially boot time at least twice, and now it got worse, how USB card behave, I have no idea, it could be the same or not.

If you can buy from newegg you,i imagine, can buy from other american sites. There are better options available for the same price or the 750 ti for a lot less,
