Hello amirul.hakkim35, the ideal answer to your question is what do you intend to use your laptop for? Gaming or general usage?

Here is some more info on the drive you mentioned on your post. The ST1000LX015 is a FireCuda that combines the latest NAND flash technology with a traditional hard drive for a compact blend of capacity and speeds up to 5× faster than typical hard drives, all backed by a 5-year warranty as well as:

  • * FireCuda delivers faster load speeds for nonstop performance and play
    * Save time with a drive that boots in seconds, not minutes
    * Lower power components create less heat—resulting in better frame rates and computer performance
Here is a list of local distributors in Malaysia.

We hope...
Make sure BIOS supports SSHD and booting from it. Otherwise it may see SSD and HDD as separate units and that's not going to speed up anything. If you have CD/DVD tray you could get and DVD to HDD adapter, put your HDD in there and get proper SSD as master drive.

You might ask the Mfg. if those drives support defragementation. Auto Defragmentation is usually turned on by default in dells and SSDs don't use that so it should be turned off. SSHD I don't know. Safe bet would be turn it off, but you still need to know how it will handle a defrag. maybe it just defrags the HDD portion. But I would ask.
