Upgrading my MoBo and Processor (Budget Gaming Rig)

I'm trying to upgrade my computer with limited funds.
My existing build is;

AMD GA-78LMT-USB3 rev 4.1
AMD FX 4100
Gigabyte 1060 6GB Windforce OC edition
Ballistix Sport DDR3 16GB Kit
Corsair VS550 PSU
W10 Pro 64bit

1TB HDD + 500GB Alt HDD

The graphics card is already a new addition, but due to instability and my current processor choking a bit (likely from the Mobo struggling - I think i bought it used, as i did the processor, so this may not have helped...)

My planned changes next are;
AMD FX 8350 Black Edition (already bought)
Asus Sabertooth 990FX rev 2 (best/most recommended mobo for 8350)

I'm likely going to OC eventually, but it's not a priority. What is a priority, however, is whether my existing PSU and Ram will play nice with this new build. Do I need more power? I feel confident about DDR3 being compatible with the Sabertooth mobo, but I also wanted to check that out here too.

If there are big issues with this, advice would really be appreciated - no point criticizing the choice of 8350. I'm aware of the poor upgrade path, but I got it for a really good price for new quality, so that's not going to change any time soon. It's more changing the motherboard on top of the new GPU and processor, i believe.
