I currently have the dell u2312hm and I was thinking about buying another monitor, but I don't really know if the upgrade is worth it and if it is which monitor I should buy. My budget is around $500.

What graphics card do you have? Do you game a lot, or are more into content creation/internet browsing?
Depending on your answers you can either get a 4k monitor or don't upgrade at all.
