Hi there,

I just sold my i5-6600k together with my z170 and ram

Looking for an upgrade bundle but im not sure what should I get ?

Parts that are staying are:

MSI 1080 GTX SEA HAWK
SEASONIC 620W M12 EVO
SAMSUNG 850EVO 250GB
SEAGATE 2TB HDD

Looking to buy:

CPU + Motherboard + RAM + CPU Cooler + SSD NVME 512GB

My main uses are:

little gaming, little video editing, working from home using mostly office applications and connecting to my work supercomputer

I prefer Intel as I like to OC and understood that AMD's new generation don't really OC , But i'm open to hear new suggestions

Thanks for taking time to read my post :)

What's your budget? I'd recommend an intel i5-9600K + 3200MHz DDR4 if you want to go intel. Use PCpartpicker to define your chosen components.

CPU: intel i5-9600K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4 (2x8GB)
Cooler: BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4.
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo NVMe 512GB
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC

Budget is not an issue, I just don't want an overkill system as I don't have a lot of time to play anymore.

I think I prefer an AIO cpu cooler, which one will you recommend (preferably on the quiet side)

I managed to get the i7-9700k on offer (295gbp)
So my system looks like that now:

CPU: intel i7-9700K
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 3200MHz DDR4 (4x8GB)
SSD: Adata XPG SX8200 PRO 1TB NVME
SSD 2: Corsair MP300 480gb NVME
SSD 3: Samsung 860 Evo 240gb 2.5 inch
PSU: Seasonic M12 ll Evo 850W
GPU: MSI Sea hawk 1080 GTX

Still missing CPU cooler, Motherboard and a case.

Was thinking about:

Gigabyte Auros pro z390
Corsair h115i or NZXT Kraken x62
Phanteks p600s

What do you think guys ?
