I mainly play WOW, watching movies, HULU

Looking to buy soon, within the week. Budget is $200-$300 for GPU.

GPU - Nvidia GTX 650

Compaq p6511f with a couple of upgrades

AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor 3.00 GHZ, Windows 8.1 Pro, 64 bit, 4 GB memory,
Motherboard - M2N68-LA, Narra5-GL6, 550 watt power supply, no SSD's just mechanical HDD

I have a 2 monitor setup and would like to go to three eventually.

While I have considered buying a new computer, I would rather try to just upgrade this one for cheaper first. Thanks for your help

If you want to upgrade for gaming, you probably should first try to find a faster processor. The ones that fit you board are all obsolete now, but you can still find them used on ebay. Is this your MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007625%20600138080%20600009017&IsNodeId=1&name=Micro%20ATX
Check the processor upgrade link there.
Sounds like you have an HP or Compaq. Sometimes newer fx cards don't play nice with the proprietary BIOS HP uses on their MBs. But that would be the next thing to upgrade; the gfx card. A R7-265 or R9-270 would be within budget with the used CPU, I would think. But it will depend on what your PC's PSU is. Stock 300W? Do you know the make/model of it?
