Hi! I'm new here so forgive me if im asking at the wrong section

Anyway, im planning to upgrade my pc but im not sure what to upgrade first

Current specs:
I3 540 3.07 ghz
4Gb ram
Inno 3d gtx 550 ti
Generic 600w power supply
Currently running at 1366x768

Should I go mobo and cpu first? Or gpu and power supply?

I am planning to upgrade my gpu first with powercolor hd 7850 and enermax tomahawk II 500w but I am worried if my current cpu would hold for a couple of months before I upgrade my mobo and cpu.

Im planning to play games like battlefield 4, assassin's creed 4 and some future games like witcher 3 and dragon age inquisition at decent image quality. Medium to high but I want to taste some ultra options from time to time. Resolution might still be at 1366x768 since im planning to buy a new monitor much later.

Advance thanks to anyone that would reply. :)

If you are looking for more eye candy or possibly a higher resolution monitor, then a graphics upgrade first is in order.
Since your generic psu is doing the job, I see no reason to change it out now.
If you do want to upgrade your psu, here is one list sorted by quality tiers:

If your 600w psu has 2 pcie 6 pin connectors, you might even want to use a stronger graphics card.
Perhaps a R9-270 or a GTX660ti.

I've been looking at some PSU in our local retailers and it seems like they don't have XFX or a low wattage Corsair. I'm looking at Thermaltake, Cooler Master and Gigabyte. Which would you prefer? or if there are other brands that you know, I'll try to look them up.

And also, since I might upgrade my cpu and mobo in 3 months or more, would my cpu bottleneck hd 7850? If yes, is it something noticeable? Take note that I'll try to scale the graphics so a possible bottleneck would lessen.

Anyway thanks for the reply.
