upgrading my pc

my current mobo is gigabyte GA-G31m-Es2c . is this mobo good for gaming.
i was thinking to pair sapphire HD 7770 (DDR5) and AMD FX6300 .
Power supply is 450 W (can buy a new one if my current mobo is good) . It has
1 x PCI Express x16 slot
1 x PCI Express x1 slot
2 x PCI slots

The CPU section shows what CPUs your mobo can house.

First off no AMD, second, just old Intel processors. So either buy a used older CPU, or buy a new motherboard.
