This will be the first time I upgrade my computer and I have bought a separate SSD for windows only. I also have a 1 TB HDD everything is currently stored on like, games, pictures, you get the point.

Basically my question is if I install windows on the SSD is there any way for me to remove just the os on the old drive, but keep my games and programs installed?

Solution
You are better off installing programmes that you commonly use, on the SSD as the performance increase is huge. With the old HDD, your best bet is to back up your games/data and whatever else, onto an external drive. Then format the old HDD, and copy the games/data back onto the now empty HDD.

This will of course mean you have to re-install your commonly used programmes onto the new SSD, but it'll be worth it, believe me. :)
