Hi,

I’m planning to upgrade my PC pretty soon. I have a prebuilt PC now Called Lenovo Y700-34ish
https://www.cnet.com/products/lenovo-ideacentre-y700-34ish-tower-core-i5-6400-2-7-ghz-8-gb-1-12-tb/specs/
This one , but I have a gtx970 in it.

My plan is to change the mobo to a Gigabyte Z370P D3, the CPU to a i-5 8600 and also getting RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3000MHz 2x8GB

I looked through a lot of threads about PC parts and everything , but Im still not confident to buy the parts.
If anyone could help me with this to find out if it will be working or not, would really appreciate it.

I also know that my GPU will bottleneck the CPU a bit, but Im planning to upgrade that later too.

Solution
just to let you know you don't need a z370p for 8600 non k cpu, h310/b360 with 8400 will be much cheaper and performs almost the same.

looks like the parts should fit in the case. worst case, is that you have to buy a new power supply as i can't see if the cable connections are standard or custom.
