Question Upgrading my pc

Hey. I'm wondering if I can upgrade my older computer so my girlfriend can play on it, want to run most games on the highest graphic settings. So I would like to get some suggestions. Price wise I'm looking for the cheapest possible, just to see how low the prise can be. But can also take suggestions from up to 1200£ pound's (1500$ dollar)

If you want to play 2012-13 games the system might be able to handle them yet. If you want to play current AAA games you need a new and more powerful platform.

You need DDR4 RAM for current Intel or AMD architecture systems and you can also keep your case and storage devices (HDDs+SSDs).

You can go AMD way again and for a good CPU+GPU+MOBO would pay less than similar Intel+nVidia. With Ryzen 3 which would be available soon Ryzen 2 prices would probably drop some and would become cheaper to build a good Ryzen 2 system.

Or get the latest with Ryzen 3 if their performance justifies their prices because they'd be a bit pricey when they're just out.
