[SOLVED] Upgrading my PSU and GPU

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for help upgrading my pc as it's been a long time since I have built one.

I have upgraded the memory in it to 16gb already as well as installed an SSD

Currently I am interested in the
GEFORCE RTX 3070

This is a 2 part question really.

What's an affordable PSU upgrade as the current one is supposed to be some bad bronze level unit.

And is my motherboard capable of even using the GPU? Or are there any other affordable GPU upgrades one could recommend?

Do not cheap out on PSU. It is the heart of the system, and when a cheapo dies, it will take your other hardware with it.

Your motherboard is fine, and the case should be as well.

Also, I know the recommendation for the gpu is 650watts.

But it would appear I could get more watts for around the same price on that model you sent me?

Would it be wise to have the extra wattage?

And do the specifics that were selected on what you sent me be the same for 750 for example?
