I am upgrading my GPU in my Dell Inspiron 546 (mini tower). quick rundown on specs: AMD Athlon II x4 620 2.6 GHz, 8Gigs Ram, craptastic 300watt lite-on PS-5301-08 PSU. Okay not the rest. I am buying a Radeon 6850,7770,7790,6950, or 7850 (think this one more then others) now i know i need a new PSU as well, however when ever i look it up via google there is either 08HA version that i dont have or it says that the PSU is for Dell 531 or 570. I just want to find a PSU that will not hurt anything in my Computer and that will Fit can anyone Help me out? Is this actually an ATX psu or something else?

Solution
the reason why fans of high quality psus are on top/bottom is because to make a good airflow from top/bottom push to the rear of case,
get the corsair cx500 it is good value for money for only $60
