I just built a new PC with a cx750m (grey label) in it but I was thinking about possibly upgrading to a little bit better corsair psu such as the RMs. My question is, if I stick with corsair psu would I just simply be able to disconnect my current psu and reconnect the new psu with the same wires since they should be the same? I'm not too familiar with building pcs so I'm just wondering if it would just be a simple swap or not.

You will want to use the cables that come with the PSU itself.
Obviously depends on what RM model you go for, RMx are best.

You'll also find your CX might not be modular.

It's still a simple swap, just unplug everything from the motherboard and peripherals, unscrew the PSU, then input the new one and plug in.

I'll probably just stick with my cx750m for now if it isnt going to hurt my system. Other than it probably not being the quietest psu it seems to be performing well. I have a 2070 super, ryzen 2700x, 16gb ram, 1 ssd and 1 hdd. That psu should be fine right?
