Hello! I am planning to upgrade my PC and I want to buy 16GB RAM 3200Mhz, and my question is if i can put that type of ram on my motherboard, now I have 1 stick of 8gb 2400Mhz.
PC Specs:
RYZEN 5 2400G
PRIME A320M-R
GTX 1060
8GB RAM DDR4 2400MHZ
If I put that type of ram I will get a boost of fps? Thanks!

Should work might not be a bad idea to get the latest bios and test before swapping ram.

8GB of ram and gaming is not a good mix....think swapping.
A 2x8GB @ 3200 kit will help in that area plus you get the faster speed ram and dual channel.

What that does for fps is unknown I doubt it will be less.

Hi.

Mostly you will feel little performance upgrade like 5-7 fps, and regarding AMD processors you have to run it in Dual channel mode to extract maximum performance, with XMP profile enabled.

"According to the official Support Page, the 2400G only supports a maximum of 2933MHz system RAM. So I set the 3200MHz XMP Profile, then turned the speed down to 2933MHz, then forced the 2GB allocation to VRAM, and it works just fine" , Quoted from a Google user.

You have to upgrade to 16gb of ram, that itself will bump your fps a bit, plus if you have a budget exchange your ram and buy a dual x8 (2) for better performance.

You will see a very large boost in performance in going from a single stick to running in dual channel.

Much more than the 7% or so stated above.
