Upgrading my System which power supply to use.

Well let me start by saying that I am a beginner in this area so pardon my idiocy. The thing is i have a system which i am planning on upgrading, Specs are:

MSI x58 pro e
Intel Core i7 960
WD 3TB+ 1 black
16 GB DDR3 (4GB * 4) RAM


My upgrade plan is:
Nvidia GTX 950
+ 8 GB (4* 2) RAM *Optional

and the power supply i choose is EVGA 750 G1

is it enough or proper power supply for the system upgrade. please help and if you think the G-Card is not good as well please recommend one as well.

750w is overkill for your system. Look at the EVGA Supernova 550w. Unless you want a big psu for later big upgrades.
