Upgrading my System

Hi All

I made a Thread in gaming about my difficulties getting nice FPS eventough I bought a GTX1080.

Seems like my CPU isnt compactible with my Motherboard.
So I thought of an Upgrade.

My current System:
OS: Win7 64Bit
Graphic Card Driver: Nvidia 372.54
G-Card: GTX 1080 G1 Gaming Gigabyte
Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme 3
Processor: AMD FX-8350 8x4Ghz
PSU: 600W
HD: 1TB SSD
RAM: 16GB

New Parts:
Mobo: ASUS Z170
Processor: i7 6700k
RAM: DDR4 2133MHz 2x16GB

In my local store it would cost about 850$
Would it be a smart upgrade or could I do something better with the money?

its a good upgrade, you might not need 32 GB of RAM though

Well, I did the upgrade and I can say: Except that my System is now 50° and not 80°, the FPS I get are the same
