Upgrading my video card and my power supply, I have $300 to do this, what would be my best options?

GPU - GT 640 2gb

PSU - 430w

Wait a few weeks the new GTX 960 should be out and not knowing the TDP of the card yet a new power supply might not be needed.
Or for a upgrade now look at a R9 280 card and a Rosewell Capstone, XFX power supply in the 650 watt range.

CPU - FX -6100 (3.3GHz)

Mother Board - Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2

GPU - GT 640 2gb

Memory - 16GB

PSU - 430w

the r9 280 and a 650w psu from a trusted brand should cost about 300 bucks, and will boost your gaming performance.
