My current setup is:
AMD Phenom x4 945 3.2ghz
ASUS M4N68T-M (motherboard)
8 gig of ballistix sport 1800 ram
Geforce GT220 1g gpu
Adiogly sound blaster sound card
585w PS

I play world of Warcraft in a top US 100 raiding guild and I feel as if my GPU isn't performing to my liking.

I am wanting some input on some upgrades that I can go with.

I get nice little military discount at a local compute store
www.computersplus.com

I don't want to spend a ton on this.

Best buy here has GT610-620-630-640 all at a decent price but I figured that just because the bigger numbers didn't mean bigger.

Also It doesn't have to be a nvidia card. I'm open to anything.

Someone said something about a 6670 on here but I wanted to post with my specific rig.

If you can stretch your budget a bit, I would recommend a Radeon 7850 to be the sweet spot to complement your CPU performance, otherwise a 7770 is a good choice.

may I ask where you live? I don't know what your discount is, but that store sells a 7850 $80 above market price...

i'd say about a 7750/7770 or a 650ti (100-150$ depending on the version) would be enough and give some room for future expansion of WOW...

***7850 is really faster if you can afford it but you don't really need it if you only play at WOW...

650ti is $110 after a $30 MIR
cheapest 7850 1gb is $160 after MIR

don't know exact PS but.......... having gamed at both those resolutions, but never playing that game.......... get a 6950/7870/gtx660 card with 2gigs of vram.

true your processor is slow.......... but more card now and perhaps something to work better with future upgrades.

A 6670 would be a good buy if you're planning to grab a new PSU and case as well though they would eat too much into you budget IMO

I would generally rate the case as least important :p Running my sig rig in an old case right now

my best suggestion would be to spend your whole budget on a 7750 and stick with your old PSU since these cards don't use a lot of power and fit your budget

The case and PSU can wait till later unless you are having problems with them

I think these cards are great, the first xfx is single slot awesomeness with good cooling, the asus is just cheapest while the last xfx is OC and has the best cooling
