upgrading my video card

ok, bit of a new noob on DIY, bought a alienware a few years back and thinking of upgrading the video card to a: R9 290

so I'm asking will it be worth it for my computer? or am I bottlenecking? and anything else I should know before doing so and anything to 'watch for' on purchase?

I have: Intel I7 930 2.80 GHZ
PSU: 875 W
2 TB HD in raid 0
6134 Mb Ram.

current: AMD 5850

There may be some bottle neck in CPU limited games when playing single player. And more when playing online, because the CPU has the extra duty of maintaining up to 64 players on a busy server. But I wouldn't consider it a deal breaker myself.
