Upgrading my WiFi card/adapter.

Hello there.

I'm thinking about upgrading my wireless adapter mostly because of ping spikes I'm experiencing when playing online games. Currently I'm using TP-LINK device called: "TL-WN722N". I would like to ask for suggestions on what device to buy as a replacement and if it will do anything regarding ping spikes in online games.

Wireless is unfortunately not very good for gaming due to its higher latency.

You might get better results with a different channel or moving to 5GHz, but you are much more likely to get good results by using a pair of modern AV2-1000/1200 MIMO powerline adapters to make the connection to your router.
