I will be looking to update my system very soon. With the amd 4xxx chips set to be released this summer I don't want to spend a large sum on a processor yet, but have it planned when the newer ones come out. So for now, in looking for a mobo that will support a high end next gen chip AM4. (4900x or something similar).
I currently have an fx 8350 and am looking for an am4 chip that is at least equivalent for a budget processor until the newer ones get released. I have no need for integrated graphics but am unsure if I should get an apu for resale value or a slightly better cpu for the same price type thing.
I want good ram as well, but something that will function with both the inferior am4 chip and the new one released.
For cooling it's kinda the same. I'm looking at a higher end water cooler but again, I want it to work with the newer cpu when it comes out.
Tldr: looking for high end components for a budget CPU due to future upgrades.
