My Asus Zephyrus GA502DU laptop has two PCIe 3.0 x2 slots which currently are occupied by a 256gb (system drive) and a 500gb.
Now I want to upgrade the 256gb system drive to a Corsair MP510 960gb ssd.
Is it as simple as
step 1: plug the new 960gb ssd into the slot currently occupied by the 500gb (secondary drive)
step 2: clone everything on the 256gb system drive onto the 960gb drive
step 3: remove the 256gb system drive and replace it with the 960gb drive
step 4: plug the 500gb drive into the second nvme slot
?
I haven't been able to find a good guide on how to do this so any information or advice would be appreciated
