I've been gaming on i5 3570k and r9 270 for quite a while now(5 years) as it was my first gaming pc ever since I got into it. But recently my gpu died so I'm working on this new "much" needed build.

I just wanted to ask some opinions about the parts that I'm currently working on to make a new gaming pc.

This is my old pc.

1. i5 3570k oc 4.5
2. Hyper 212 evo
2. R9 270 oc
3. Asrock z77 extreme3
4. 8gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair vengeance
5. Samsung 840 evo 120gb
6. 500 gb hdd
7. Corsair cm 500w bronze

This is what I'm working on.
Currently have:
1. Corsair Carbide 400c
2. Msi z270 sli plus
3. 4gb x2 corsair lpx 3000mhz

Need:
1. I7 7700k / i7 6700k / i5 7600k?
2. 650 / 750 gq evga psu's?
3. Gtx 1070 / 1080 / 1080 ti?
4. Rx 480? Vega ?
5. Samsung 960 evo 250 gb ?

The question marks on the needed list represent the questions.

Btw I have x2 Acer 60hz 1080p monitor but planing to upgrade to "Asus - ROG SWIFT PG248Q 24" eventually...

If you want a whole new build it's best just to give your budget and uses and we can just come up with the best for your money. But to answer your questions:

1. The i7 is obviously strongest but might not be worth spending over the i5 if it means a lesser GPU.
2. EVGA G series are good Power Supplies but if you are trying to spend little on it the SeaSonic S12-II line is great.
3. If you are deadset on that Asus Monitor then your best choice would probably be a GTX 1070 since it's a Nvidia G-Sync Monitor and a 1070 should do 1080p high refresh rate very well in most games on Ultra.
4. Can't say for Vega (hoping its good) but this can't use the G-Sync feature on the monitor you are looking at and an RX 480 is a little too weak to handle...

5. The 960 EVO is a great SSD but make sure you have enough bulk storage as 250GB will fill up fairly fast with the OS, Software and a handful of games. Your old SSD and HDD should be useful here.

Hope this helps :)
