Made a old post asking for help but I put the budget to $490 but now I can only do $460

I am trying to upgrade my pc so I can use a 144hz monitor

Here are my specs

CPU-Ryzen 5 2600

GPU-GTX 1050-Needs upgraded

RAM-16GB DDR4

Power Supply-NEED A NEW ONE


I have a Budget Of $460 CANT GO OVER , this includes the monitor as well.
If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

I have the GPU and powersupply in here Im looking now for the monitor that will keep under $460 total
 
Solution
The only way you are going to do this is with a used GPU.
GTX 1070 or Vega 56 $225

The PSU and monitor should be bought new as there is no significant savings buying used.

I would be interested in what others have to say concerning this.

My personal thoughts are that between the GPU and PSU your budget will be pretty well spent, much less the monitor. Might consider breaking these expectations up into parts.

Where I see you selected a best answer, and also see that the suggested card was more powerful....it rather addressed by concern about whether a 1660ti would actually be able to do 144 frames.
