Upgrading PC, compatibly check

g'day, just about to upgrade my processor and not 100% on if it'll all be compatible.
I Have: AMD A10 7700K 4-Core Processor
Kingston ValueRAM KVR16LN11/4 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 (two of these)
Corsair VS550 ATX Power Supply
Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
ASRock FM2A68M-HD+ Motherboard
MSI Radeon R7 370 Gaming 4GB
SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB SSD

And I am wanting to put in a AMD FX-8350 8 Core Black Edition Processor

In addition to the CPU, you'll also need a motherboard. Buying the FX-8350 with a motherboard good enough to avoid VRM throttling issues is not a good choice; there are better solutions. What's your budget?

my budget for the upgrade is around the $200-$250. Would it just be better to build a new pc?

You can't build a new PC with that budget (CPU, motherboard, memory and GPU). Unless you play at very low resolution, your GPU doesn't meet the minimum requirements to play overwatch, h1z1 or battlegrounds. What lead you to consider the CPU is too weak? It's close to 100% busy while gaming?
