for very little, you could get a RYZEN 1600/2600, a motherboard and 16gb RAM for under $350 right now. you already have a GPU so that's something you could upgrade later. there's a ton of nice cases out there as well if you wanted to refresh your entire system for another 50 to 75 bucks. dollar for dollar RYZEN offers the best bang for the buck.

idk for some reasons i lag with alot of games with my gtx 960 4gb i dont know how either but league is around 40-60 fps gta 5 30-50 fps csgo 60 (i use 2 full hd monitors tho and multitask ALOT)
