Hello! I was wondering how this upgrade would fit into my PC. Currently I'm running a i5 3470 being cooled by a Corsair H60 on a Gigabyte H77, 2x4GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Corsair Vengeance, included with a GTX 1060 6GB by MSI, along with a 750watt Corsair PSU. All I need to run at one time is OBS, Discord, Spotify, & the Game of choice I'll be streaming. I stream mostly Rainbow 6 Siege, CSGO, & Fortnite all at lowest-medium settings because I don't care about looks, most games play with decent FPS just not 144fps to look that smooth on my monitor, mostly... a lot of stuttering and random drops & long load in times. My goal is to stream 720p60fps (because that's the highest non-affiliated Twitch users can stream) and have high enough FPS to keep up with my 144hz monitor. I'm looking for a upgrade since payday just arrived. I'm looking into only LGA 1151 Socket CPU's, compatible with my entire computer as of now. How much of a boost will this part give my computer? Is it compatible? Are there better options? Let me know!

The best You can get for this mobo is i7 3770K (4core, 8 threads). Then You can overclock it on some good cooling.

Should be enough, but i'm not a streamer, not 100% sure...

If You want to spend money on i7 8700, then You could buy entire setup from AMD at similar price - it's great for multitasking.

I meant 7700k, sorry about that.
