Upgrading PC ixtreme M5722

I have PB ixtreme M5722 which is about 5 years old. The PC spec is below:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.50 GHz
1 processor, 4 cores

Packard Bell EG43M motherboard

6GB Ram

CX 430w Corsair PSU

HD 6670 GPU

American Megatrends Inc. P01-A1 BIOS

The PSU and GPU were upgraded 2 years ago so I thought I'd continue to upgrade rather than buying a new machine. Question is what to upgrade? I am aiming to just improve general performance as the computer does seem a lot slower now.

Do I upgrade to SSD, change motherboard, processor etc or all??

I have seen some bundles which look reasonable on OCuk or Scan. Can anyone advise on a good bundle for around £200-£250 for a MB, Processor and Ram? Generally I want to future proof it for a few years and use it for occasional gaming.

I forgot to mention it is a Micro ATX case
