It's a full ATX size MB which has 4 RAM slots for possible future expansion. 8 versus 4 PCIe slots. Slightly better audio chipset. Back Panel: Two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, four USB 3.0 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports (versus four 3.0 Gen 1 ports + two USB 2.0 ports.) 5 versus 2 fan headers. RGB headers. It also has a better voltage regulation module for CPU stability and overclocking. What is better about this motherboard than the other one?
Thanks. I already ordered the motherboard suggested. You can see my current build in my signature (I added a H7 Cyrorig cooler). Either way, it is quite the upgrade lmfao.Yes, it was active yesterday when I posted it. The promos don't last forever
I can look for another promo when I get some time.
I didn't see any new MB promo's in your price range today. Your signature linked to your old build. I'm sure that you will enjoy your new buildThanks. I already ordered the motherboard suggested. Sorry, it was cord that was hitting my GPU by accident.First read this: https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/no-post-system-wont-boot-and-no-video-output-troubleshooting-checklist.1575220/
Test with 1 stick of ram, no hard drives connected. Make sure no CPU pins are bent.
He already bought it lolHonestly at that budget, (especially canadian) I would wait for 3rd gen Ryzen to launch then look at purchasing all used 1st/2nd gen Ryzen hardware. That will give you a decent system that will be way more powerful than what anyone can spec out for you new.
I am going through it, and I have tried almost everything. Like I said, everything turns on. Perhaps:That checklist is helpfull.
No LED lights are lighting up on the MB. Graphics card looks like it works - both fans are running, and the LEDs for "Gigabyte" light up and does changing colour thing. There should be diagnostic leds on the motherboard. Go ahead and find them in the manual. Keep in mind if you didn't install the graphics card you won't get video because most ryzen chips don't have integrated graphics.
Try to reseat the GPU and video cable. Reseat CPU.
Could be motherboard
Yes. I tried taking out the GPU as googling my MB shows I have "Integrated AMD Radeon™ Vega Series Graphics in Ryzen Series APU". Same issues of my screen "searching, searching, searching" and then it flickers, but nothing happens.Your monitor is plugged in and turned on, right? The monitor is plugged in to the GPU and not the motherboard?
