Upgrading pc problem

Hello everyone!

I'm planning on upgrading my pc.
I'm going to upgrade my cpu to intel,my motherboard ofc,adding ram,a new case and a ssd. (only have 1 hdd)

I want to have a fresh pc.
I dont know what to do with my hard drives and Windows cd.
Can I pls get instruction?

If you are using an OEM version, you won't be able to re-use it. Those are embedded in the UEFI chip and cannot be used anywhere else.

On the other hand, if you bought a boxed or a digital copy that was then applied to your current PC, as long as it's legal, the copy is...
Back up any data you want to keep on from your current hdd, then once you've built the new PC, install Windows on the SSD and then once you are sure you have all your data backed up from the hdd, you might as well format it and then use that drive just for data, games etc. and your ssd for just your Windows install and most commonly used programmes.
