I am upgrading my PC from:
i7 6700K
ASUS Z170A Mobo
16G DDR4 2400
Samsung 850 Sata 250G SSD
to:
i5 12600K
ASUS Z690 Plus D4
32G DDR4 3600
Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVME
I will be keeping my 650W PSU as I believe this will be plenty sufficient for now, and staying with GTX-1070 for now until my budget can handle the upgrade cost(thinking RTX 3070/80)
My question is if I should if I should do a 'clean' install of Win10, then upgrade to 11, or go straight to a fresh install of win 11 on the 980 Pro. Any pro's / con's either way? I'm going to go to Win 11 anyway, as it will support the Alder Lake CPU and my wife just got a new laptop with Win 11 installed, and I better learn it so I can help her with issues.
