Hi everyone. I have a 5 year old PC that I'm looking to upgrade / replace. I hope this is the right forum for it. Anyways:
Current build, which is 5 years old:
Motherboard: ASUS|Z97-A Z97 LGA 1150 ATX R
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz
PSU: XFX TS Series 550W Power Supply
CASE: ANTEC VSK-4000 RTL
RAM: 4GBx2|G.SKILL 8136 MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
What I'm looking to upgrade / replace with ( if I don't replace motherboard and case and such ) :
Intel Core i5-9600K ( https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i5-9600.../dp/B07HHLX1R8 ) ( This particular processor is on sale now at a good price so that's why )
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 ( https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeFo.../dp/B07P76G428 )
Seasonic 650W ( https://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-GX-6.../dp/B077J9QTDR )
WD 2TB HD ( https://www.amazon.com/Black-Perform.../dp/B00FJRS628 )
Antec Case ( https://www.amazon.com/Antec-Afforda.../dp/B00IVZW2TS )
Bottleneck calculator says the cpu and processor would work great https://pc-builds.com/calculator/Cor...60_Ti/0RP13flu
OPTIONAL:
On Amazon the CPU listed above comes with this motherboard (
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-PRO-LGA11.../dp/B07J6Z9KJ2 )
And if I did purchase that motherboard with the bundle, maybe using this RAM (
https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-PC4-2.../dp/B01IW7Z66U )
My questions:
Any issues with ANY of these parts individually or working together? And should I swap out the motherboard and RAM or leave them as is?
( Also, if I upgrade these parts but keep the same motherboard and case, is it still the same computer? )
