Hello! I'm looking to upgrade my Power Supply. My current motherboard is the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER.

Granted, I haven't purchased a new Power Supply in about 5 years. Does anyone have any recommendations for a PSU of 1,000W that'd be compatible with my motherboard?

I tried browsing through Newegg, and there are many varieties of PSU's. I'm assuming the "type" I want is an ATX PSU given my MOBO is ATX.

Let me know your thoughts!

Ok that makes sense (sorry to as but you would be surprised how many folks think they need 1000w for something nothing near that).

I stand by EVGA for large PSU's, the 1000G2 is used by many of our members and will work well for you:

My current setup entails two cards in SLI, as well as two monitors, a potential sound card purchase, three hard drives, two SSD's, and an Intel i7-6700k Processor.

I'd like a 1,000W to be future proof for various components. I'm running a 850w currently, and simply want to upgrade/update it.

Solution
the EVGA Supernova G2 / P2 is a good series
the SuperFlower Leadex Gold/Platinum on which it's based on is fine as well and sometimes cheaper
Corsair Hx/Ax/Rmx seeries would do fine as well (Ax being a bit better than the others)
if you want complete overkill, the new Seasonic Prime Platinum series is very nice

Thank you so much for the input!
