Hi,

Just looking to upgrade my pre built PC but would like some advice for the motherboard / CPU if possible.

I currently have a advent dt2410 which I've only upgraded the RAM, GPU and to an SSD.

GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
Processor - Intel Core i5-3330 (3.00 GHz)
Motherboard - MSI H61M-P31/W8
RAM - Corsair CMX16GX3M2A1333C9 XMS3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1333

Appreciate any help.

That CPU and motherboard are pretty good.
A new CPU will be faster of course, but even a 4690k would not feel massively faster in use... you might even not notice the difference.
That motherboard will only have SATA II, so your SSD is running at half it's top speed... but it is still a lot quicker than HDD
Your memory is only 1333Mhz, but faster memory on a newer mobo will only give you maybe 10% more speed.
IMHO may not be necessary for more upgrades...

But to answer your question, I would do this
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard,
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Or max it out with:-
i7 6700
Z170 mobo
super fast ddr4 ram
