can i replace this processor with core i5 or any quad core processor without changing motherboard

your motherboard is a socket 775 I believe, which will not be compatible with newer processors.

as long as the cpu you upgrade to is a socket 775 you can upgrade

you could, to a core2quad cpu. not to the core i5, since those use 115x socket instead of the 775

if you want to just multitask, sort of. you will feel the difference with any of them. for games, no. most are still single threaded, and with the core i5 architectures offering waaay better IPC as well as higher clocks they just beat the old core2 quads no prolem

you will do fine, but not on ultra settings. and about india availability, i have no idea... sorry

Can i play ac4 on high with vsync off and antiscropic off or on medium cause rightnow with e5500 i am able to launch the game and run badle on very low i am buying a 6770hd and 6gb ram

your priorities are wrong, rather have 4gb of ram and spend the extra money on a better gpu. id say atleast a 7790 for playable settings in AC4
